Nick Pallo (Macedon, NY)

 

Nick has been an active member of the club since the very first WNYS Predator Hunt in 2002.  He shares his passion of predator calling with other members and is always willing to assist others in acheiving success.  Nick's mantra of "Stick to the Thick" has proven to be productive and many other hunters have adopted this style of hunting with success.   Nick enjoys meeting fellow hunters and always encourages others in their shared passion.  His handmade "Yeti" calls are highly effective and Nick makes sure that young hunters do not leave a BATMCC function without a call in their pocket.  Congratulations to Nick on this honor of BATMCC Member of the Year 2009!

 

 

 

2008 Brian Downs (Cape Cod, Mass.)

 

Although Brian has been a registered club member since 2005, he made his greatest contribution this past winter. 

 

Brian shared his technique of preparing and using "Bait Buckets" for coyote hunting success and it really caught on.  Many club members, eager to experience some of Brian's productivity, jumped on board and tried baiting for themselves.  Brian followed his forum posts and helped help out fellow club members with questions.  The forum was buzzing with pictures and "tales from the pile".  Thanks, Brian, for enlightening everyone on your hunting techniques and congratulations on being the first BATMCC Member of the Year!
